Well, by now you would think that it wouldn't shock me the huge difference between the boys and the girls. It starts at birth, as infants they are different. Both Josette and Sophie hate(d) to be in wet diapers, the boys could have cared less. Sit on your bottom has a whole new meaning for the boys. Sophie would never sit and play with her toys, it was more pretend play with random items. The boys will play with a single truck for hours. Benjamin got some money from grandparents for birthday/Christmas and picked out dump truck that really scopes garbage into the back of it. He has played with it forever, Carsten will sit and help him get "smashed cars" to load in it and take to the dump. Super heroes are also HUGE. Benjamin has worn a cape non-stop for months now and has a snow glove that is his Power Glove, and he uses a funny voice to exclaim that he has it on. It's a good thing they make me laugh while they are up to their antics or who knows what insane asylum I would be in. I have a daily list of what Carsten has broken that day. He really helps me to keep stuff to a minimum. There are no words to describe the shear joy that radiates from Carsten's face as he flies off the window seat onto the ottoman. I remember those quiet days with Sophie when she would just pile the movies next to her, now they are piled and then kicked across the room to see how far they can be spread. Life is good!!!!
